Add new users

All staff members that operate the SyncNbook account for a property should have their own login. This is best practice to have your account secure and to be able to see in history of a reservation what user made changes to a reservation.
Only a user with owner role is able to add a new user to

Add New User

1. Navigate to your user name - Select Manage Hotels

2. Select Invite User. If you have more than one property on your user make sure you select the property that this staff member should have access to.


3. Type in the user email and select the role that your staff member should have access to

User Roles

Owner - Owner role is the highest role to have. This role has access to all the front end, all of the settings in the back end and is able to add other users to the account. You cannot add more users with owner role, if you require another user to have owner profile please contact our support team.

Manager - This has all the same power as Owner role but cannot invite users

Reception - This user only has access to front desk of the system and cannot go into the settings area.

Reception (No Finance) - This user has limited access to reports - See a full list of the report this user has below:

Housekeeping - This user is very restricted to view calendar (without prices) and access the Housekeeping report only.

Issues:

No Email
If user doesn't get their email please contact support with the user email address and we can create the user and provide them a password, the user can login and change their password later.

Forgot Password
The user can use the forgot password link on the login page, if this doesn't work please contact us to manually reset their password.
