In the front desk inventory table you can change rates for a few days at a time or a short period by bulk update-ing the prices or restrictions.
When you make a change on the rates or restrictions it does overwrite the rates that are sett in the back end (seasonal rates or just the default season rate).
What we have noticed about this is when you are changing the rates you need to click each field and write the rate in the field and click save. If you use copy paste method when filling in the rates and click save, the rates will not save and you might have a complaint about this.
FYI - you can always see that someone has overwritten the rates if the fields are green.
