To enable the Sales Channels Feature in your PMS system go to:
Settings - System Settings - Hotel Features - Enable Sales Channels Feature, save and refresh your page.
Sales Channels
Sales channels refer to the various platforms or methods through which reservations can be made, such as online travel agency (OTA) channels, direct bookings, website bookings, company bookings, and corporate bookings. The Source/Agent field in the property management system can be used to track and record the different channels through which reservations are received.
SyncNbook has the capability to automatically direct the billing to the company associated with the sales channel and create a separate billing statement for the guest if the system is set up correctly. This feature is particularly useful when a company is the customer making the reservation and paying for the accommodation, as the billing will be done under the company's name.
Any additional charges or services added by the guest during their stay will be included on the guest's billing statement, separate from the company's billing.
Link Customer/Company to Sales Channel
To link a customer to sales channels and to the field Source / Agent follow the steps below:
Make sure that you have created the company as a customer.
Company is indicate with a little building next to the name.
Go to Settings - Connectivity Settings - Sales Channels - Click add new sales channel
Name is the name that will be used in the field Source / Agent when a reservation is made.
Associated Customer is the company that you want to be linked to the Source / Agent
When a customer is assigned the option for Folio Routing Settings will appear, tick the appropriate box for what your usage.Next when you create a reservation and type in the name ABC Travel to the Source/Agent field it will automatically route the folio to be paid by the company ABC Travel and the guest has a separate folio for extra charges to the room. The reservation will also turn blue in the system to indicate that this is a company booking.
